We are starting the week out on the chilly side, warming for a couple days, then cooling back off. Welcome to spring weather. Up and down for a few weeks, then we will level out and stay warm.
Holly Williams, the daughter of Geoff and Debbie, participated in the Kentucky State Special Olympics basketball skills competition in Louisville over the weekend. Holly and the rest of her team, the McCracken County Special Olympics Stallions and Stars, ended up doing very well. They won a gold and bronze. Congratulations to Holly and all of her team.
Happy birthday wishes are sent to Colton Logeman, Mike Burton and John Travis.
Mark your calendars. We will be having a men’s weekend coming up in a couple of weeks. On Saturday, March 25, at 1 p.m, the men, as well as boys, are invited to lunch and fellowship time in the FLC. All men and boys are welcome to attend.
Sunday evening, March 26, at 6 p.m. will be the chili supper with the men serving to the women. There will be soup as well as chili. Everyone is welcome.
Also, our annual Easter egg hunt will be Saturday, April 8, at 11 a.m., so mark your calendars.
