Yup, I missed last week. I forgot what day it was and didn’t realize until Tuesday afternoon. I blame it on COVID brain. Hope everyone had a great week.The signs of spring just continue to come to life. All of the trees are budding or flowering, as well as the shrubs, and I have seen several yards have been mowed. Mine is almost to that point too, and I’ll have to give in sooner than later if we have more days like today — a sunny 70s Monday. But we have a little cool down coming this week, so that will give me a few more days. The remnants of the 3-plus inches of rain we received last week are present in our area — flooded fields and full ditches. It’s hard to believe that March is here. Just feels like we started a new year last week. Time seems to pass so fast anymore. We need to enjoy each day as it comes.
Kathy Hutcherson, along with Chuck Travis and Melinda Travis, spent Saturday a couple of weeks ago in Jackson, Tennessee, for the third birthday party for Hudson Bremer, youngest son of Samantha and Nick Bremer. Granvil and Kristin Travis and their three girls went Sunday to continue Hudson’s celebration.
