Paducah and area ballet students, ages 6 to 18, are invited to audition on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 9:30 a.m. for Moscow Ballet ballerina Alisa Bolotnikova at The Rhythm Factory Vocal and Dance Experience, located at 701 Jefferson St. in Paducah.

The Moscow Ballet audition is open to students from dance studios across the region with a minimum one-year of ballet training.

Bolotnikova will lead auditions and rehearse the young dancers in their assigned roles.

Successful auditionees will perform side-by-side with the Moscow Ballet company in the "Great Russian Nutcracker "when Moscow Ballet troupe comes to the Carson Center at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9.

Roles that were created exclusively for their age and skill levels include Party Children, Mice, Snowflakes, Russian Snow Maidens and more.

Bolotnikova will also lead the young dancers at dress rehearsal with the Russian company the day of the performance.

Auditions are free. There may be a casting fee and/or rehearsal fee.
