The 2019 Massac County High School Patriot Basketball Camp was held earlier this month.

Incoming second through ninth graders were instructed on the fundamentals of offense and defense, along with offensive and defensive team play.

Awards

• Second grade: Maddox Greer, first place hot shot and second place one on one; Tyler Barger, first place free throws and first place one on one; Gabe Hosman, second place hot shot; and Jonas Greer, second place free throws

• Third grade: Hunter Beck, first place free throws and hot shot and second place one on one; Walt Windhorst, first place one on one; Griffen Quint, second place hot shot; and Hayden Griffey, second place free throws

• Fourth grade: Case Korte, first place hot shot; Andrew Puckett, first place free throws and one on one; Ford Black, second place hot shot and one on one; and Aiden Cozart, second place free throws

• Fifth grade: Wyatt Gower, first place hot shot and second place one on one; Jude Harmon, first place free throws and one on one and second place hot shot; Brayden Meyers, second place free throws.

• Sixth grade: Zach Maurer, first place free throws; Tysen Arthur, first place free throws and one on one; Caleb Barnard, second place hot shot; Tucker Nalley, second place free throws; and Isaiah Riley, second place one on one

• Seventh grade: Jace Birney, first place one on one and second place free throws; Ethan Goines, first place hot shot and free throws; Mason Davis, second place hot shot; and Kris Garnett, second place one on one

• Eighth grade: Luke Maurer, first place free throws and second place hot shot; Isaac Hosman, first place hot shot and one on one; Jack Stewart, second place free throws; and Will Harmon, second place one on one

• Ninth grade: Brody Smallman, first place hot shot and second place free throws and one on one; Brady Cissell, second place hot shot; Reid Martin, first place one on one; Logan Vickes, first place free throws

Hustle awards were given to: Sean Clemons and Ethan Atkinson, second through fifth grade; and Joshua Gilbert and Taisean Howard, sixth through ninth grade.
