Phi Theta Kappa starts 'Greener Saints Project'

Recently several members of the Shawnee Community College Phi Theta Kappa (PTK)chapter volunteered their services to assist with the landscaping and maintenance efforts at the Barkhausen Center in The Cypress Creek National Wildlife Refuge located in the Cache River watershed. This event kicked off the PTK Chapter's efforts to promote their "Greener Saints Project," an environmental project dedicated to increasing awareness and action centered around environmentalism and sustainability in our local area. The group is seeking further opportunities to become involved in the local region and increase awareness for their cause. For more information about the "Greener Saints Project" contact Craig Bradley at 618-634-3345 or craigb@shawneecc.edu.
