Nov. 7A Metropolis officer was doing a premise check at the Acee’s Truck Stop and saw Aimee L. Davis, 32, of Metropolis, exit the gaming area, according to police. Police said the officer was aware that Davis was wanted on a warrant issued by Massac County for failure to appear on a resisting arrest charge. Davis was lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.

Nov. 8Metropolis officers responded to a home in the 1700 block of Filmore Street. Police said the caller wanted a person arrested on trespassing. According to police, upon arrival, officers learned that Teresa S. Neimeyer, 31, of Metropolis, had been trespassed from the property on Nov. 5. Police said Neimeyer was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to residence and lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.

The preceding information pertains to an arrest made by the Metropolis Police Department. This arrest was made on the basis of probable cause and all arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
