Metropolis officers were called to check out a suspicious person in the 1800 block of Catherine. Upon arrival of the K9 officer, he located Rebecca M Crenshaw, 33, of Golconda. A computer check revealed she was wanted on warrants issued by Massac County for aggravated battery and criminal trespass to property and by Pope County for possession of dangerous drugs and paraphernalia. Crenshaw was arrested and lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
A Metropolis sergeant arrested Shaunna Hall, 22,
of Joppa, in the 100 block of Lindsey. Hall was wanted on a warrant issued by Massac County for criminal trespass
to property. Hall
was lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
While on patrol, a Metropolis sergeant observed a tan Buick on northbound
Vienna from 10th Street. The sergeant recognized the driver as Pierre L. Harris,
36, of Metropolis.
The sergeant was aware Harris had a revoked driver’s license. A traffic stop was conducted, and the sergeant observed an open can of beer in the car. A computer check confirmed Harris still had a revoked driver’s license. Harris was charged with driving while license revoked and illegal transportation of open alcohol. Harris was released on bond.
Metropolis officers were called to a domestic disturbance at a residence on Walter Drive. Upon arrival, officers found physical evidence
that the victim had been struck and injured. Steven D. Parr, 41, of Metropolis, was arrested for domestic battery and lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
