Ann Munson Myers, 84, of Paris, Tennessee, died Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at her home.Born April 30, 1934 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to Stanley Munson and Barbara Vinski Munson, Ann married John Christopher Myers on Jan. 24, 1953, who preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1997. Ann was the owner and operator of Universal Coatings for many years. She was a long-time member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Paris.Ann loved to read and was a member of Friends of the W.G. Rhea Library. She was a former member of the Paris Henry County Arts Council and a strong supporter of youth sports in the local community. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.Survivors include one daughter, Molly Myers of Murray, Kentucky; three sons, Kenny Myers and wife Susan of Metropolis, Tom Myers and wife Wanda of Paris and John Myers and wife Elise of Griffin, Georgia; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Myers of Springville, Tennessee; one brother, John Munson and wife Mary Lou of Conneaut, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, Ryan Myers, Matt Myers and wife Marbrey, Sawyer Myers, Cain Myers and wife Lauren, Rachel Myers, Erica Myers, T.J. Myers and wife Kalie, Nicole Myers, Jodi Myers, Jacob Myers, Avery Wilmurth and Annabel Wilmurth; and six great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Douglas Richard Myers; and four brothers, Ed Munson, Stanley Munson, Chuck Munson and Joe Munson.Funeral mass was held Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Martin Orjianioke officiating. Burial followed at Memorial Cemetery in Paris. Mrs. Myers’ grandchildren served as pallbearers.Memorials may be made to: Friends of the W.G. Rhea Library, 400 W.
