Ann Estelle Owens, 78, of Metropolis, died at 10:10 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Massac Memorial Hospital.

She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Metropolis where she served in the culinary department.

She was preceded in death by her son, Traven Corey Ervin; and two sisters. Her parents were James Ervin and Queen Esther Tyson.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Calvin Ralph Owens of Metropolis; two daughters, Dia Lieberenz of Lisle and Ellen Owens of Metropolis; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, John Fears; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services are scheduled at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021, at First Missionary Baptist Church in Metropolis with Rev. Orlando McReynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery.

Friends may call Saturday at the church from noon until the funeral hour.
