James Andrae, 49, of Creve Coeur, formerly of Metropolis, died Wednesday, May 8, 2019.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 1 at Creve Coeur Christian Church, located at 101 S. Thorncrest Ave. in Creve Coeur, with Pastor Dwight Winnett and Pastor Bill Holley officiating.

Burial will follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin,. After burial at Glendale, a luncheon will be provided at First Christian Church, located at 604 Groveland St. in Creve Coeur.

Born Dec. 3, 1969 in Pekin, Mr. Andrae graduated from Pekin High School and Bradley University with a chemistry degree. In his 25-year career, he worked as a production supervisor for different chemical companies, including Honeywell in Metropolis.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Pokarney Andrae; their children, Seth Andrae and wife Sydney, Emma Andrae and T.J. Andrae; his mother, Linda Holland; one sister, Ellen Kiesewetter and husband Mike; one brother, David Andrae; his mother-in-law, Dollie Pokarney; and two brothers-in-law; Tony Pokarney and wife Angie and Tyson Pokarney and wife Angie.

Memorial donations may be made to his family.

Kutis Funeral Home in St. Louis, Missouri is in charge of funeral arrangements.
