Kenneth Roberts, 99, of Joliet, formerly of Pulaski County, died Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home in Joliet.

Born on Nov. 11, 1919 in New Grand Chain, Mr. Roberts retired from Kankakee Industrial. He attended Stone Hill Bible Church and was a World War II United States Army veteran.

Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Richards and husband Darrell; one sister, Margaret Snyder; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Alice Snyder Roberts; his parents, David and Ida Wiesenborn Roberts; and three sisters, Mary Eastwood, Ruby Klardie and Grace Dunn.

Funeral service was held Monday at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home. Interment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Fred C. Dames Funeral Home in Joliet was in charge of arrangements.
