Paulette Swenney, 68, of Metropolis, passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, at Baptist Health Paducah.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, at the Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Sterling Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Paulette is survived by one son, Jay Swenney (Amanda) of Cunningham, Kentucky; one daughter, Bobbie (Rann) Tibbs of Cresco, Pennsyvlania; six grandchildren, Destiney Smith, Taylor Tubbs

(Tyler), Sydney

Tibbs, Xavier King, Shadie Tibbs, and Hannah Zoeller;

five great-grandchildren; one sister, Regina Gurley; cousins who were

like siblings, Jerry

Sue Reynolds,

Mary Jacobs and Terry Emerson; several nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Clennie Scurlock; aunts, Elsie and Bobbie Emerson; uncle, Odell Emerson; sister, Connie Henson; and great-grandson, Joe Smith.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, at the funeral home.
