Roy Evelyn Leonard, 84, of Paducah, Kentucky, formerly of Metropolis, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

Mrs. Leonard was born April 28, 1936, to the late Roy W. and Ethel B. Ramsey Alley in Golconda.

She was a member of Twelve Oaks Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Mrs. Leonard is survived by her daughter, Laura Knowles and husband, Dan of Paducah; two grandchildren, Alex Knowles and Jack Knowles both of Paducah; a sister, Ruby Alley of Metropolis.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Leonard was preceded in death by her husband, Allan D. Leonard; three sisters, Imogene Threlkeld, Helen Barger and Lucille Kluge; three brothers, James L. Alley, Otis M. Alley and Charles W. Alley.

Services were held Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Rev. Brandt Lyon officiating.

Burial will be held at a later date at Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Eddyville, Illinois.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to, Golconda Public Library, 126 W. Main St. Golconda, IL 62938.
