In Monday Night Men’s play, Stewart’s Precision Detailing slightly increased their lead over Linwood by sweeping the Pinheads 7-0. Griffey HVAC swept the Elks 7-0 and Linwood took five of seven points from Sully’s Billiards. Jerry Brown shot a big 679 series featuring a 247 game. Todd Faulkner rolled a 609, and Justin Mitchell had a 587 series to highlight the league scoring.
The Tuesday Morning Ladies’ League is edging closer to their finale with Sweeney’s still holding a 6½-game lead over its nearest competitor the Queen Pins. The Queen Pins made up some valuable ground by taking all four points, while the Fab Three did likewise to the Sassy Sixties. The Rosettes took 2½ points from the Pumpkin Queens. Mary Heikkinen led the ladies with a real nice 547 series. Phyllis Short shot a 501, and June Whelan rolled a 482.
