Last week in the Thursday Night Mixed League, Sully’s Billiards ground out a one-point lead over Big John’s and an eight-point cushion over KMI.

For the men Cody Shelton rolled a 595 to claim top scoring honors. Clyde Shafer was close on his heels with a 578, and James Carrico rolled a 520.

For the women, Dollie O’Leary rolled a big 541 anchored by a 234 first game for Gene’s Plumbing to lead the women.

Angela Johnson bowled over her average for all three games in rolling a 410 series.

In Monday Night Men’s League play, the Pinheads were swept by Stewart’s Precision Detailing but still hold a 3 point lead over Griffey HVAC.

Stewart’s and Linwood Motors, who swept Sully’s Billiards, are tied for third place with only a 10-point difference from top to bottom in the six-team field.

For the Elks Lodge, Mark Walker just missed a 700 series rolling a fine 690 anchored by a big 257 game. Kevin Baker rolled a 666 series and Jesse Burleson fired a 635 as scoring picked up a tick from last week.

On Tuesday Morning Ladies play, the Fab Three hold a one point lead over Sweeney’s and a 2½-point lead over the Queen Pins.

Like the Men’s League, there’s only an 11-point spread from top to bottom in the six-team Ladies League field.

Phyllis Short rolled a 520 to lead the women’s scoring. Tanya Salyer fired a 475, and Debbie Hileman had a 464.
