Harrisburg's young "Bullpups" clinched the Ohio side of the SIRR Conference Tuesday with a 12-0 whitewashing of Massac County.

Behind fast working Isaac Crabb, the 'Dogs put up five runs in the first inning and then let Crabb do his thing- get the ball and go.

The loss comes on the heels of a "Monday Massacre" at West Frankfort.

The Red Birds dispatched Massac County in near record time with a similar 11-1 spanking of the Pats.

The one-sided losses came on the heels of two nice conference wins over Murphy and Herrin.

Coach Pat Clark is trying to be philosophical about things, stating, "We still have 15 games to go plus the postseason. This hasn't been the first half we wanted but I believe we're still a much more capable team than we've shown."
