Coach Harry Statham addresses the crowd between the girls’ and boys’ championship games. Statham and his wife Rose attended the Feb. 25 tournament, staying around for the first- and second-grade slam dunk contest.
For the second year, Jim Childers announced the third- and fourth-grade championship games of the Harry Statham Youth Basketball League. Childers is also the voice of Shawnee Community College Saints basketball games.
The Harry Statham Youth Basketball League just wrapped up another banner year with its third- and fourth-grade tournaments for boys and girls.
The boys’ championship game conclude with coach Jared Sexton’s team coming out on top. The girls’ championship game went into overtime with coach Brad Clark’s team pulling out the win.
