In their last game prior to tournament play, Massac County’s Lady Patriots soccer team snapped a four-game losing skid and shut out Kelly, Missouri, 3-0, on Thursday, May 4. The team was in action Wednesday, May 10, at Murphysboro in the first round of IHSA Class A Regionals against Waterloo Gibault; no details were available at press time. The youngsters have come a long way on defense, now if they can just pick up the offense a little.
