After cruising through their first three games, Massac County’s Lady Patriots ran into a roadblock Tuesday night at Marion.

But, being the resourceful crew they are, they found a way to eke out an overtime win by the score of 53-47 over the Lady Wildcats to remain unbeaten at 4-0.

At the time of this writing, the details were not available, but the final score kept Massac County’s streak rolling.

Monday night’s home opener against West Frankfort was another “walkover” as West Frankfort has battled COVID issues and an overall shortage of players.

MCHS post player Cali McCraw was overpowering in the middle as she altered a bushel of shots and scored at will.

Massac hosts Murphysboro Thursday night (tonight) and then has a big road game against Benton on Saturday.
