Massac County's girls soccer team finished up its regular season Tuesday playing the Lady Lions of Carterville to a 1-1 draw.

Millie Lawson put Massac on the board at the 16:05 mark of the first half with a long boot that eluded Carterville's goalie. Time was winding down for Carterville before the Lady Lions got on with a goal at the 7:25 mark. Neither team managed a shot on goal in the last minutes.

The girls will host A-J Friday at 4:30 p.m. in the play-in game for the A-J regional. The winner of Friday's game will have the unenviable task of taking on number one seed Columbia next Tuesday at Anna.
