In the IHSA football playoffs, the dealin’ is almost done.

In Class A action, Lena-Winslow will meet up with Carrollton in the title match.

Nashville, which staged an improbable, almost impossible comeback to derail Decatur St. Theresa, 37-35, will meet up with Wilmington for the 2A title.

The 3A title game pits Tolono (Unity), which disposed of Mt. Carmel’s Golden Aces, 28-21, against Byron.

The 4A title game looks like this: Springfield Sacred-Heart Griffin took down perennial powerhouse Rochester, 49-42, and will meet up with Joliet Catholic.

In 5A play Kankakee, which disposed of Marion in a 44-38, wildly entertaining semifinal match, will come up against Oak Park (Fenwick) in the championship game.

Changing sports, down at Meridian, the Huckleberry Lady Bobcat Basketball Classic shook out like this.

Host school Meridian went unbeaten, taking down Century, 72-52, in the final game for the title.

Joppa-Maple Grove lost to Century, beat Egyptian, lost to Meridian and, in the third-place game, lost to Hardin County, 42-25.

Century posted wins over J-MG, Hardin County and Egyptian to finish 3-1 for the tourney.
